Saturday, July 21.
Off to Doolin today, with a stop at the Cliffs of Moher on the way.
Had to catch the ferry at Tarbett .
Stopped at Cliffs of Moher, but given the amount of traffic, Su and Lindajumped out to walk up and have a look at the cliffs, while Gaz waited in the queue for the car park. Half an hour later the girls found Gaz who had just made the car park.
Arrived at the campsite at Doolin, Gaz set up while the girls walked over to the waterfront to check on boat times for the cliffs tour by sea. Late lunch and down to harbour fora cruise along the cliffs.
The cliffs ahead, standing 700 feet high.
O’Brien’s Tower on top of the cliffs.
Cave used in one of the Harry Potter films.
The Stack standing 140 feet high, home to many birds, including puffins, which we saw but are too fast and small to photograph.
We are sailing?
Ants on top of the cliffs are people.
Back to land where Lynda cooked dinner. Might become a regular. Off to Dublin tomorrow.
