ROUNDWOOD -GLENDALOUGH

Tuesday, July 13.

Caught the bus to Glendalough, a monastic site, 12kms away.

Just had to have these photos.

Two deer and one dear.

Magnificent views up the lake.

And through the forest.

Lock on the cemetery gate. Was it to keep them in or stop them getting out?

St Kevin’s Cross. It is said that if you touch it you would have good luck.

More of that magnificent scenery. Have never seen so many shades of green.

Where are we?

Finished off with dinner at the pub after a truelly enjoyable day in the countryside.
