BRIGHTON

Thursday, June 30.

Having experienced the trip by bus and train yesterday, we decided to do the same today, except in the opposite direction to Brighton. A three hour bus trip along the coast, with no rain was great.

Street a cute little pub where we caught the bus into Chichester each day.

Some of the photos may have reflections from the bus window. On the way to Brighton we passed through the following, Bonnet Regis, Angmering, Worthing, Lancing, Shoreham by Sea, Southwick and Hove. Although it drizzled at times, the trip was very interesting, with lots of quirky buildings.

Not so quirky.

Beach?

Must have had only one set of plans.

Pier at Hove.

Yep another church.😀

New add for Dulux.

Check out the beach boxes. Oh and the kite surfers.

Where does all the water go?

I think we have run aground or that was a big wave.

If you can see this light house, you are probably already in deep ….

How is this for an incinerator?

Yay, Brighton Pier.

Someone I know having their fortune done.

Bleak view back to land from the pier.

Fortune told, little ray of sunshine.

Susie playing in the sand. 😳😳

You can’t be on Brighton Pier for dinner and not have fish and chips. All very nice. Satiated, we headed up to the railway station for the one hour ride home.

On the way up we passed the Royal Pavillion in Brighton, where Queen Victoria used to stay. Rather impressive.

Fountain on the park.

Same architect again!

Yes it’s stone church.

Waiting for the 9.05 to Chichester.

Arrived back at Chichester at 10.20 after a very enjoyable day.
