BERLIN – DAY 2.

Tuesday, September 29.

Headed into town to visit the Neuss Museum. This museum shows Berlin through the ages and the variety of cultures that have existed here.

Left museum and caught bus to the Brandenburg Gate.

From here headed to the Jewish Commeration Memorial.

Past the last remaing section of the Berlin Wall.

Then Checkpoint Charlie.

All these were mind blowing and we had to see them before Lynton and Sarah  flew home.

Vietnamese for dinner, then caught the metro to Alexander Platz. Caught train and tram but missed the last bus. Tried getting a cab but none would come so we had to walk the 4kms home along the bike path through the woods. Sarah would not stop in case the goat got us. Long story but it is a book.
