Thursday, September 24. 

Someone’s big day today. Wonder who? Still more phone messages. Talked to the boys, including Ben, and Mez. One of the drawbacks to being on this side if the world. 

 Down to metro and caught the train to Staromestka and then walked to the Charles Bridge. Sarah mentioned the F word, food. One thing we have learnt is that when Sarah says she is hungry, do not ignore it. Found a restaurant next to the river and settled in. 

    
 Satiated we headed across the bridge to the old town, and looked around. Headed back over bridge towards clock square to watch the clock stoke the hour.

 and them feeling leg weary, we jumped in a replica vintage tourer for a tour of the city.  

  

 Passed through the Jewish quarter, which we would visit tomorrow along with the castle.

Off to the Lego shop so Sarah could purchase some for her nieces and then to a fabulous restaurant for dinner. What a great way to end a birthday.😊😊
