VIENNA – DAY3

Friday, August 7.

Quite morning doing paperwork and then walked to the Essl museum, which is owned by one of the richest families in Europe. Reason for going is that they house the biggest collection of Aboriginal art outside Australia.

Fairly impressive. Back to Myrtle for a quick bite, then into Venice to see a performance of the Vienna Residential Orchestra, Opera and Ballet Company. Wow, what an experience to hear Mozart and Bach played by such a great orchestra. The singing was amazing as was the ballet.

Unfortunately we were not allowed to video or take photographs, so you will all have to be happy with what the venue looked like.

Thoroughly impressed, we went for a bite to eat and then back to Myrtl as tomorrow would be a big day.
