MOUNT PILATUS

Wednesday, July 15

Up early and on bus into Lucerne Central to catch ferry for one hour boat trip to the cog railway, which would climb Mt Pilatus.

Pleasant boat trip, now for a 7,000 foot climb on the worlds highest and longest cog drive railway, with inclines of 141% in places.

Arrived at the top to see these guys jumping off at 7,000 feet.

Spent a few hours wandering around the mountain top,

 rehydrating,

and then caught the cable car back down the other side to catch the bus into Lucerne.

Back to Myrtle after an exhausting day.

  1. Hello Su and Gazz,
I guess you had an amazing birthday Su, these photos are incredible- Makes my drive to work and back everyday look very uninteresting. I miss talking to you.. We are all well here, not much news to tell, but glad you both are having the time of your life,
Love Jill and Steve, Joel Britt
