Thursday June 10

On the road to Sandringham. Lizzie’s summer house. Now in Norfolk and the lay of the land is very different from the northern parts of England. Very flat and in many places below sea level. Many waterways with boats of all types.

Arrived at Sandringham. Many wooden sculptures in the grounds.

Took a tour through the main house. For obvious reasons no photos are allowed inside, however I can tell everyone that it it absolutely amazing.

One of the many old trees on the estate.

Entry to the stables.

These are some of the royal toys.

Sandringham has it’s own school of furniture making.

Some of the retired vehicles.

These paintings are by members of the royal family.

The church at Sandringham.
